You don’t even like curry. In fact you don’t even like onions. At my stag do you ordered the least curry like thing you could find and then spent the whole meal prodding it with a grumpy look on your face.
You’ve changed

Church for Men Florida -
This month marks Church for Men’s 1st anniversary. We’ll be celebrating at the next CFM event on Saturday Jan. 26th. Since Church for Men started in Florida, a Church for Men started in New York City. Click on the YouTube link below to see what Church for Men in New York is doing.

In addition to Florida and New York, in 2008 there will be Church for Men events starting in Columbus, Ohio and Flint, Michigan. See Ohio’s Church for Men blog @ http://manchurchcolumbus.blogspot.com/
What’s next? The United Church of Canada is watching what CFM is doing in Florida. See note below.

Dear Mike,Congratulations on Church for Men’s 1st Anniversary! May God continue to bless you in this important outreach. I’ve enjoyed visiting your blog site from time to time. One of the things that strikes me is how different our cultural circumstances are in Canada when it comes to the church. That said, we have in common a generation (at least) of men who are feeling culturally
and spiritually adrift. It will be so important to appeal to the noble
and redemptive elements of masculinity.Blessings and Peace to you,
David

This bought back some good memories from Mandate last year! I picked up a copy of Cut to the Chase back then and I’m still coming back to it.
I was searching your blog on a quest for the Bill Bailey sketch you played in our seminar session, any chance you could fire across a link assuming its on You tube?
Keep up the passion for God’s church and its call to all men as well as women.
Thought you might find this of interest?

In my new book, “Numen, Old Men: Contemporary Masculine Spiritualities and the Problem of Patriarchy” I point out some of the problems with the Christian men’s movement; but I have to say, teaming up with J D Wetherspoon is an inspired move.
